August 23rd: letting the idea float

This week... I am back to work as a consultant... just for a few days to help out the team.

It was so interesting to feel the trend researcher part of my brain activated. Little bit like drinking a glass of champagne after 9 months of not having any alcohol in the system... if you know what I mean.

I enjoyed it. I enjoyed twisting my brain with creative ideas, visualizing my thoughts on paper (and on the screen), sharing the possibility with the team...

But more than anything I enjoyed coming back to my little family. Seeing little roo smile at me when I got back to her... followed by a big cuddle session...

Priceless.

August 21st: LIVE deliberately

Something I heard today that I want to remember...

Aren't these adidas shoes cute? They will definitely be the "first adidas shoes" for our little roo... and they will always be special.

We had picnic in our backyard with friends and their little ones. Priceless:)

- easy and pretty kind of breakfast. while munching on our late breakfast, we decided what we're going to have for dinner... yum.
- satchi turned 8 weeks old today. i love her baby cuddle very very much.

- having dessert for breakfast then more for afternoon snack
- absorbing the long summer evening
- having dinner early before it gets dark outside

- eating yummy lunch with my best friend
- enjoying pretty soda
- cooking more crumble... this time with fresh peach

Happy August, everyone!
I have decided to join Susannah Conway's the August Break! Here is how it works.

you simply share one photo per day on your blog – Monday to Friday, or every day. Or whenever you want. Using any camera – DSLR, compact, Polaroid, Holga, iPhone (my choice), Instax, 35mm, video – with or without words – anything goes – for the whole of August. No pressure - just looking at August through your camera lens as a way to be more present this summer. And to have a little break from the pressures and expectations of regular blogging.

There are NO RULES! Just sunshine (hopefully) and a bit of fun. And lots of lovely photos to look at.

I think it's a great way of living and capturing moments from August... So aside from my regular posting, I will be capturing and posting one (or few) photos everyday throughout the month of August using my iPhone. No fussy set up... just a quick snap shot.
