We first stopped by Cafe Stella in Silverlake to grab a bite. Late breakfast... early lunch. Their eggs Benedict is insanely amazing! We had some time to kill until our parking meter expired... so we stopped by Reform School and Spice Station in the neighborhood. Then we stopped by IKOIKO in down arts district where they recently opened a temporary space. We wanted to see leather bags designed by Nancy and Kim of Building Block, talented designers who are also alumni of Art Center. We wrapped the afternoon at Daily Dose... in the beautiful sunset light.
It's so easy for us to let these opportunity -to get out of the studio- slip through in the midst of everyday grind... because there is no shortage of things that need to be done for Baum-kuchen, family, school. But today was once again a good reminder that we need to make sure to fuel our inspiration so that we keep moving forward.
