Season of celebration... a season of gratitude
Tonight I would like to take a moment to jot down my thoughts around this crazy holiday marathon. Yes... it can be bit overwhelming and exhausting... but once we get beyond the initial shock that it is ALREADY December, it is also such a sweet time of the year... full of love and care.
My favorite part? More opportunities to hang out with family and friends... you know the people who matter to our life... Starting right around the Thanksgiving holiday, we (me+hub+roo) have been spending more time with friends to mingle, host, entertain... and of course, dine (pic from our dinner table).
On Sunday I had my first "night out" without a stroller. An evening outing with my girlfriends. They have known me for more than 12 years. We have witnessed each other grow and evolve through different life stages. It's amazing, isn't it? With our busy schedules, coordinating our get together was little bit like a science... but I truly dearly enjoyed the few hours we sat around the table nibbling on yummy food while sipping cocktails at Fatty's, one of my favorites in Eagle Rock. Talking to them and listening to their stories really helped me to feel grounded to who I am and who I want to be... even during this busy season. My key takeaway from the evening? It's not about how many stuff is on my plate. It is about always bringing [A+] game to the things that are already on my plate. I am very thankful for their company in my life.
Thank you girls...

p.s. i want to take this moment to thank ReadyMade and BLTD for introducing the Message Bag and the SIWA bags to the world. It's so exciting to know that there are people out there who believe in the same values as we do...
Also I am really loving interacting with everyone on our facebook page. I know it's not for everyone but I love it as a way to continue the conversation organically.
