For last few days, I've buried myself into this big project - baum-kuchen's first pop-up shop at Silverlake farmer's market! Between our little roo and other projects, I don't have all the time in the world so it has been a lot of late night hours in order to cross my special project to-do list.
Today I spent all day making a mock-up booth in our backyard with the tent I will be using. It was really helpful to visualize what the space might feel like... with all the items laid out. I am trying to make sure that my customers will have an opportunity to really look and feel these baum-kuchen items in person. Before I put everything back in boxes, I took pictures of the set-up using Polaroid so I can re-create the space in 1 hour on Saturday morning.
Tomorrow am will be the last stretch of prep then we will load everything on our VW tomorrow night. I am super curious to see if everything will fit in the VW golf. (FB swears that they would... so I trust him.)
