We were feeling bit of low/high with our 1st machiya due to the space restriction and lack of temperature control... so a two-story modern machiya in a middle of beautiful Kyoto neighborhood is beyond what we have expected.
Roo LOVES new travel company, Omi & Opi (Grandmother & Grandfather in Germany) and we are truly enjoying every minute of our time together.
... and let's not forget the (nearly) full bloom cherry blossom everywhere in the city.
