I want to thank you for amazing supports we received in the past week! Thank you so much for believing in the baum-kuchen shop, the aesthetics and the way of living... I am so thankful for all the blog-sphere love we received especially from Colleen of Inspired to Share, Lisa of That's Happy, Chelsea of Frolic! and more...
I love their aesthetics. Spending time with their their daily posts is my time to collect inspiration so you know how ecstatic I was when I came across their sweet posts about baum-kuchen:)
Before her post came up, Colleen asked me where my shop name {baum-kuchen} came from. When I get so busy with everyday stuff, it's easy to forget the big idea... It was such a great moment for me to reflect on why I wanted my shop to be called baum-kuchen.
This paragraph is what I shared with Colleen...
“Baumkuchen is a German word and translates as “tree cake” in English. The cake originally comes from Europe but has become quite popular in Japan. The cake is made by multiple layers and is called as “tree cake” because it looks just like a tree ring. I fell in love with the name because I wanted the shop and the baum-kuchen to bring layers of happiness to everyone’s life. Also I liked the idea that all these products can age and become something greater with age just like a great tree.”Thank you so much everyone for taking your time to getting to know more about the baum-kuchen. It means a lot to me...
