02:16:12 [60/365] - being close to the water

It's back to a gray and rainy day after our sunny beach day... but we were able to sneak a mini beach excursion when it stopped pouring. This is the closest beach we have to our house... literally below the cliff by our kitchen window... and since there is a mid-size river nearby, it is filled with beautiful round rocks.

The landscapes on this island never disappoint us. The scale, colors, textures, smell...

I am thinking of recording some of the moments via video to capture the feeling in more visceral ways...
